Fault Tree Analysis is an effective way to analysis the system’s reliability. Through the FTA process, This paper gets the causes leading to the turbocharger’s overload. It is highly proved that the remedies the paper suggested are well effective to eliminate the failure risk of turbocharger by the technical change on the type A engine
