目前针对不同的无线传感器网络应用有多种介质访问控制(MAC)协议。本文讨论了设计无线传感器网络的MAC协议应该考虑的问题,对几类典型的MAC协议进行了综述,并且提出了一种基于时分复用的MAC协议,此协议基于特定的网络设计,着重考虑了能量消耗的问题。测试表明,在本文所讨论的网络结构中使用该协议,网络节点的能量使用效率更高,保证了在无能量补充的情况下,网络节点的使用寿命满足要求。

Nowadays, different wireless sensor network applications have various kinds of medium access control (MAC) protocols. This paper discusses the problems that should be considered during the design of wireless sensor network MAC protocol, and gives a review of several typical MAC protocols. Moreover, this paper raises a new MAC protocol based on TDMA, which put the energy-saving as the major consideration for specific network. The results show that the new MAC protocol proposed by this article makes the network nodes of WSN use energy much more efficiently, and meet the requirements under the case of non-energy supplement.
