Spectrum detection is the key technology of cognitive radio. In this paper, we present a simple technique for detection of primary users in cognitive radio networks with unknown the prior knowledge of primary users. It Can be better used in the actual system. Through the simulation, even though the SNR(Signal-to-Noise) of the received signal is low, the detector based spectral-entropy also has the ability to distinguish the signal from noise.
