基于FPGA嵌入式软核的轻量型TCP/IP协议栈研究与应用
INVESTIGATION AND APPLICATION OF LIGHTWEIGHT TCP/IP PROTOCOL STACK BASED ON FPGA EMBEDDED IP-CORE
随着集成电路自身不断的发展、器件尺寸的缩小以及集成度的提高,嵌入式片上系统逐渐成为嵌入式系统开发的核心。FPGA嵌入式软核的可移植性和可复用性缩短开发周期,降低开发复杂度,广泛应用于智能家电、医疗仪器、工业控制、航天航空设备等。本文综述了FPGA主流嵌入式软核及轻量型TCP/IP协议栈技术现状,选用Altera公司的Nios II软核作为处理器单元,该软核具有良好的外设接口,可移植性好。在协议栈设计上,选用轻量型TCP/IP协议栈实现网络通信。最后,通过Wireshark抓包软件,验证了平台设计的正确性。
With the continuous development of the integrated circuit, device dimensions' shrinking and the improvement of integration degree, SOC(System on a Chip) has gradually become the core of Embedded System. The portability and reusability of FPGA embedded soft-core can shorten development cycles and reduce development complexity, widely used in smart home appliances, medical equipment, industrial control, and aerospace equipment and so on. This paper reviews the mainstream FPGA embedded soft-core and Light weight TCP/IP protocol stack, selects Altera's Nios II soft-core which has good peripheral interfaces and portability as processor unit. In the design of protocol stack, we used LwIP(Light weight IP Protocal) to achieve network communication. Finally, we demonstrate the correctness of the platform by using wireshark software to capture packets.
