质子交换膜燃料电池局部电流测定方法分析

子电池法是测试质子交换膜燃料电池局部电流分布的常用方法,是将整片电池分割为若干个小单元进行测试。测试中若只对集流电极进行分割而不对扩散层进行相应分割,电极之间的横向电流可能会给测试带来误差。但对扩散电极进行分割,不但会带来MEA制备的困难,也无法保证分割子电池之间性能的平行性以及与整片电极的等效性。本文采用等效电路来模拟子电池,讨论了不作扩散层分割引起的横向电流对于电流分布测试带来的影响。得出当电池流场板与扩散电极之间接触电阻较小时,横向电流很小,可以采用只分割流场板而不分割扩散电极的方法测试电池的局部电流。
Subcell approach is a general approach for PEMFC local current measuring which divides a fuel cell plate into a number of elements and measuring separately. In the approach, if only current collector were segmented, there would be lateral current in the unsegmented diffusion layer, which would bring error for the measurement. While the segmentation of the diffusion layer could not only result in the difficulty in MEA preparation but also lead to the unparallel property of the subcells and the unequivalence to a whole plate. In this paper, the influence of the lateral current in the unsegmented diffusion layer to the local current measurement was discussed using an equivalent circuit. The results reveal that the lateral current is small when the contact resistance between the current collector and the diffusion layer is relatively small, so the unsegmented diffusion layer could be adopted in the local current measurement.
