his paper reviews the sources of laccases, including animals, microorganisms and plants especially those originated from Rhus vernicifera trees and other related plants in China, the stabilization and immobilization of enzymes, its applications on bioremediation, lignin biodegradation/biosynthesis and other various aspects.
