中文简称为认证、授权、计费，用来完成对用户身份合法性的鉴别、权限的分配、话单的采集、费用的结算等功能。Radius协议是目前最常用的认证计费协议之一，它简单安全, 易于管理和实现, 扩展性好, 所以得到广泛应用。本文主要介绍了AAA系统框架及实现AAA所用的Radius协议的结构、特点和工作原理，并给出了一个在VOIP系统AAA框架下实现RADIUS协议的解决方案。
