中国本科医学院校布局与医学生供给现状探析

ccording to the internationally accepted definition of medical schools, the scope of Chinese undergraduate medical schools is defined by "higher education institutions supplying clinical medicine or Chinese medicine undergraduate majors", On this basis, the number of undergraduate medical schools nationwide as of the end of 2019 and the degree of matching with the population are analyzed, and the distribution of medical graduater in different regions and cities is analyzed. On this basis, the paper puts forward some suggestions on the layout of medical schools and the training scale of medical students in the future: stabilizing the total number of medical schools and medical students, appropriately expanding the enrollment of long-term medical schools, compressing the scale of some schools with relatively low levels, strengthening the capacity-building of medical schools in the central and western regions, and developing schools of Chinese and Western medicine together.
