随着如今无线局域网(WLAN)技术的发展与普及,在争用共享信道时,CSMA/CA协议性能的好坏对网络吞吐量的高低起着决定性的作用。本文首先分析了互听、不互听以及多BSS条件下CSMA/CA协议的过程,之后基于二维Markov chain模型对CSMA/CA协议的性能指标进行了建模与计算,最后通过分析建模过程提出了该协议当前的不足之处并给出了改进方案。

With the development and popularization of wireless local area network (WLAN) technology, the performance of the CSMA/CA protocol plays a decisive role in the level of network throughput when competing for shared channels. This paper first analyzes the process of CSMA/CA protocol under the condition of mutual listening, non-mutual listening and multi-BSS, then models and calculates performance metrics of the CSMA/CA protocol based on the two-dimensional Markov chain model, and finally puts forward the current shortcomings of the protocol and gives an improvement scheme through the analysis of the modeling process.
