数量竞争（Cournot）和价格竞争（Bertrand）两种不同竞争方式的比较一直受到学术上的关注。随着产品质量在竞争中的起到越来越重要的作用，对于不同竞争方式下的质量选择的对比研究具有重要的意义。本文使用两阶段博弈模型对比了Cournot竞争和Bertrand竞争下的均衡质量。在双寡头竞争情况下的理论分析结果显示不同的市场条件，具有不同的对比结果。而多寡头情况下的算例分析则揭示Cournot竞争比Bertrand竞争具有更高的均衡质量。
In recent years, production quality has played a more important role in increasing market competition. The question of how quality is influenced by different types of competition has not been thoroughly understood. This paper presents a comparing analysis of equilibrium quality in Cournot competition and Bertrand competition through the two-stage game models. We find that different conditions lead to different results in duopoly situation, while quality in Cournot competition is higher than that in Bertrand competition in oligopoly market.
