Experimental Study on Three-Dimensional Trajectory of a Horizontal Buoyant Jet in Crossflow

横向流动条件下水平浮射流的运动轨迹呈三维、扭曲的曲线。通过设计一种可确定射流轨迹空间坐标的三维图像测量技术,实现了横向流动条件下水平浮射流的三维运动轨迹测量。实验结果表明,三维轨迹线在水平面上的投影轨迹线显示了与横流中水平动量射流轨迹线相近的特性,在铅垂面上的投影轨迹线在z向随着距孔口距离x的增大逐渐呈线性抬升的趋势。

hree-dimensional trajectory of a horizontal buoyant jet in crossflow is investigated by use of three-dimensional flow visualization system. Experiments are performed for different densimetric Froude numbers of Fr=1.5-8.2. The results show that the top-view trajectory of three-dimensional trajectory is similar to the trajectory of a momentum jet in crossflow, the side-view trajectory of three-dimensional trajectory is gradually raising along the x increasing. The prediction results by VISJET are in good agreement with experiments.
