Improved Machine-side Converter Control Strategy of Direct-drive Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator for Wind Power System during Grid Failures

为提高直驱永磁同步风力发电机(DPMSG)在电网故障下的稳定运行能力,深入研究电网电压跌落时DPMSG的低压穿越过程进行深入研究。通过分析发电机侧变流器最大风能跟踪控制策略,提出一种改进的机侧控制策略。在电网电压跌落时,通过改变最大风能追踪参数,使发电机输出功率降低,进而维持机侧变流器和网侧变流器的功率平衡,抑制直流母线电压骤升。使风力发电机组在不增加额外卸能电路的同时具备并网导则中规定的低压穿越能力。分析结果验证了所提方案的正确性和可行性。

Low voltage ride through of directly drive permanent magnet synchronous generator (DPMSG) with the grid voltage sags was presented, in order to enhance operational capability of DPMSG during grid failures. Firstly, the control strategy of maximum wind-power tracking of machine-side converter was analyzed and better tactics was proposed. By changing maximum wind-power tracking parameter generator output power was reduced, so that the power between machine-side converter and grid-side converter was balanced and the DC-bus voltage swell was restrained under grid voltage sags. The results show that the wind turbine has the low voltage ride through capability defined in the grid code in the case of no additional discharge energy circuit. Simulation demonstrates the correctness and practicability of the proposed method.
