多传感器信息融合广泛应用于智能机器人、自动目标识别、战场监视、医疗诊断、图像处理等领域。本文系统地讨论了多传感器信息融合技术的概念、功能模型和层次模型。对多传感器信息融合的主要算法进行了阐述和归纳,分析了多传感器信息融合技术中存在的主要问题,最后对多传感器信息融合技术的未来研究方向进行了展望。

Multi-sensor information fusion(MSIF) is being applied to a wide variety of fields such as intelligent robot, automated target recognition, battlefield surveillance, medical diagnostics, image processing. In this paper, the information fusion concept, function model and level model of MSIF technique are discussed systematically. Main MSIF algorithms are also described and summarized. Problems in the study of MSIF are pointed out and the development trends of MISF are predicted.
