基于智能认知的交通标志信息识别技术
On Recognition for Traffic Signs Based on the Intelligent Cognitive Approach
针对不同光线条件下交通场景中交通标识的实时监测识别问题,本文利用可变光线模拟交通场景中的不同天气条件,构建了交通场景实物模型,提出了基于图像智能认知的交通标志识别方法以实现交通场景中信息的实时提取与检测。通过对交通场景图像的颜色特征、边缘特征及形状特征的提取及检测,实现了对交通标志的智能识别。本文通过对北京市学府路和南京市双龙大道等典型道路环境的调研,针对道路交通场景进行了实体建模,并对交通标志的识别检测进行了实验测试,实验结果表明所构建的交通实物模型能有效地对不同天气条件下的交通环境进行模拟,且所提出的基于智能认知的交通标志识别方法能够达到较高的交通标志识别率。
In order to detect and recognize the traffic sign shapes in the outdoor environment with different light conditions, a traffic model, which used the variable light to imitate different weather conditions, was built up. A detection method based on the intelligent cognitive approach was put forward to extract the characteristics of the targets' color, edge and shapes. This paper investigated the typical roads, such as Xuefu Road in Beijing and Shuanglongdadao Road in Nanjing, and a physical model of traffic environment was constructed, and the experimental results indicated that the physical model of traffic environment is effective and the proposed detection approach of traffic sign shapes is efficient.
