高台县沙漠化动态变化及演变趋势分析

ccording to the RS dates from the ETM or TM imagines of 1999, 2004, and 2009 in Gaotai county of Gansu Province, based on GIS spatial analysis techniques, taking the method of visual interpretation, the area and the quality dynamic changes of land desertification were analyzed. Based on this, using Markov model the research simulated and predicted the evolution tendency of desertification for the past ten years. The results showed that the total areas of desertification decreased, but the areas of severe desertification dilated between 1999 and 2009. The evolving tendency between 2009 and 2019 indicated that the total areas of desertification would increase, and the areas of severe desertification would dilate significantly if any measures were taken.
