基于物联网多媒体通信的轻型Mesh协议
Light Weight Mesh: A Wireless Mesh network for Multimedia Communications in IOT systems
在现有物联网场景下,智能穿戴、智能家居得到了广泛的应用,但在与多媒体业务相结合时,传统的自组网协议存在协议过于笨重、硬件资源浪费严重和吞吐量无法满足多媒体业务通信的缺陷。本文研究了适用于物联网多媒体通信的轻型Mesh协议(Light Weight Mesh, LWMESH),设计了基于最佳适配因子的MAC层路由协议网络自愈的算法,仿真结果表明,LWMESH与现有Mesh网络协议相比拥有较好的网络性能。
Smart wearing and home have been used widely in current IOT (Internet of Things) circumstances. When combined with the multimedia business, the traditional MANET or WMN has two shortcomings. On the one hand, the traditional protocol seems too heavy and wastes the hardware resources, On the other hand, the throughput cannot meet the requirement of the multimedia business. In order to overcome the difficulties above, this paper proposes a light weight Mesh protocol (LWMESH) for multimedia communications in IOT systems, which uses max fitting factor to choose the appropriate route. In case of the node failure, a method for a self-healing network is presented. According to the simulation results, LWMESH can get better network performances.
