Bio-Tribological Research Status of UHMWPE

文章简要介绍了超高分子聚乙烯(UHMWPE)的性能特点及其作为人工关节置换材料在临床上的应用;评述了UHMWPE人工关节材料的磨损特性;分析了磨粒的产生机制与影响;列举了几种常见的影响关节材料磨损率的因素;综述了近年来国内外通过表面改性和填充改性提高UHMWPE耐磨性的研究;对UHMWPE的研究特点做了总结和展望;从而促进了这类材料的进一步推广应用。

he performance characteristics and the clinical application of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) are briefly introduces in this paper; the wearing character of UHMWPE artificial joint material is reviewed; the mechanism of production and the influence of abrasive particle are analysed; several kind of common influence factors of the joint material is enumerated;The research of improve UHMWPE wear-ability by surface modification and fill in recent years at home and abroad were reviewed; The research characteristics of UHMWPE is summarized and prospected; therefore, it's to promote the popularization and application of this UHMWPE in further.
