Belowground Phytomass and the Response to Grazing Resting of Alpine Rhododendron Shrubland in Qilian Mountains

祁连山杜鹃灌丛草地是白牦牛等藏系家畜赖以生存的牧业基地和水分涵养植被,不合理的利用导致灌丛草地系统出现退化萎缩,本文从杜鹃灌丛草地地下生物量入手,研究了杜鹃灌丛草地地下生物量对不同休牧模式的响应。结果表明:与传统夏季休牧且放牧期重度放牧(RG-0)相比,全生长季休牧且枯草期重度放牧草地(RG-1)与全生长季休牧且枯草期轻度利用草地(RG-2)地下活根植物量和地下贮藏器官植物量有显著增加;不同休牧样地群落地下植物量均随土层的深入而迅速减少,各土层死根比(D/L)大多高于活根,并随土层深入而增加;随着放牧压的增加,活根植物量表现出向深层转移的趋势;高灌木盖度区(RG-2m)各类地下植物量均高于相应的疏灌区;从6月、8月到10月,表层活根量缓慢增加,死根量先升后降,总地下植物量呈先快后缓的下降态势。

he alpine Rhododendron shrubland in Qilian Mountains exist for its important ecological services function and pasture of rare white yak and other herbivores, unreasonable utilization lead to degradation and retreating of alpine shrubland. In this paper, the belowground biomass responses of Rhododendron shrubland to different grazing rest modes were studied. The results show that: compared with the traditional summer grazing and grazing of heavy grazing (RG-0), underground biomass of live roots and underground storage organs biomass increased significantly, for the two whole growing season grazing rest modes (winter period heavy grazing: RG-1 and winter period light grazing: RG-2); the underground living roots biomass increased with soil depth, and decreased rapidly for Necromass; with increasing grazing pressure, living roots to emerged trend to deep soil layer; higher shrub coverage area (RG-2m) have a higher underground phytomass than the corresponding sparse zone; from June, August to October, the living roots biomass of the surface soil layer were slowly increase, dead roots biomass increased and then decreased, the total amount of underground phytomass have a slow decline after a sharp drop.
