Identification of Phosphorus Efficiency Germplasm and its Heredity Behavior in Brassica napus

磷是植物必需的矿质营养元素,油菜是对缺磷敏感的油料作物。本文研究对243个甘蓝型油菜品种苗期和全生育期缺磷胁迫反应的适应性差异进行筛选,获得磷高效品种97081和磷低效品种97009。在缺磷条件下,磷低效品种97009苗期地上部干重与正常磷处理下的比值为0.417,籽粒产量的比值为0.160,而高效品种97081分别为0.755和0.348。高效品种在缺磷的条件下地上部和根系吸收累积的磷大于低效品种,而且,根部的磷输送到地上部的比例较大。以缺磷条件下的籽粒产量代表植株对土壤磷吸收利用的能力,即油菜的磷效率,发现F1与RF1在缺磷条件下单株籽粒产量、以及荚果数和株高均没有明显的差异,说明控制油菜磷营养效率的基因主要存在于细胞核中。进一步采用极大似然估计和IECM算法对P1、P2、F1和F2 四个世代的缺磷籽粒产量及其相关性状进行联合遗传分析,结果表明油菜磷效率由2对主基因+多基因控制,且存在加性效应、显性效应和上位性效应。综合上述结果可见油菜磷营养高效是受多个基因控制的,具有复杂的生理或分子机制。

Phosphorus (P) is an essential mineral nutrient for plant growth, and Brassica napus is an important oil crops which is sensitive to P deficiency. In this study, a P-efficient cultivar “97081” and a P-inefficient cultivar “97009” were obtained by screening 243 cultivars of Brassica napus at seedling stage and whole growth period. Ratio of shoot dry weight at P deficiency treatment to that at P normal treatment in seedling stage for the P-inefficient cultivar was 0.417,and the ratio of seed yield was 0.160. However, the two ratios for the P-efficient cultivar were 0.755 and 0.348, respectively, which was higher than P-inefficient cultivar. P-efficient cultivar “97081” accumulated more P than P-inefficient cultivar “97009” both in root and shoot at seedling stage. There was no significant difference in seed yield between F1 to RF1 at P deficiency, this suggested that genes that controlled P efficiency mainly existed in genome of cell nucleus., Composite genetic analysis with four generations including P1, P2, F1, F2 showed further that P efficiency was controlled by two major genes and minor multi-genes, moreover, there exist in extensive additive effect, dominance effect and epistatic effect among the major genes and multi-genes. Preliminary conclusion obtained from the study shown that multigenes are involved in uptake and utilization of phosphorus with complex physiological and molecular mechanism in Brassica napu
