Relationship between cognitive impairment and brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients

ognitive impairment, which is a common comorbiditie in COPD patients, is characterized by the deletion of learning, memory and so on. Maybe these comorbidities are correlated with age, smoking, education, hypoxemia and/or hypoperfusion caused by COPD and so on. This article contains that how hypoxemia and hypoperfusion affect the central nervous system and how BDNF protect the nerves from these adverse factors.
