基于视频监控的人群行为分析是当前智能视频监控技术研究的热点,在人群行为分析中首要解决的问题是对人群目标进行检测和跟踪。本文通过观察人群运动的特点以及与多目标跟踪的区别,采用粒子代替人群,根据视频序列的光流图计算粒子在视频片段中的轨迹并利用粒子追踪方法确定轨迹点,从而完成密集人群的跟踪。通过对数据集中人群目标进行跟踪,验证了本方法的有效性。
Visual surveillance based crowd behavior analysis is currently a highly focused research area of intelligent visual surveillance technology. The primary problem of crowd behavior analysis is target detection and crowd tracking. In this paper, we present a method for crowd tracking in which crowds are treated as collections of particles by analysing the characteristic of the moving crowd. In the algorithm, the flow map is calculated from the video by Lucas-Kanade optical flow algorithm, then the crowd tracking is completed based on the optical flow and particle tracking algorithm. Experimental results verify the effectiveness of this approach on several open datasets.
