Data Glove for Gesture Recognition Based on Flexible MXene/PU film sensors

近年来,基于柔性传感器的柔性数据手套受到了广泛的关注。一方面,商用数据手套大多采用硬质的微机电传感器,而柔性传感器具备良好的柔韧性和可拉伸性,能够满足数据手套在穿戴舒适性以及制备成本方面的需求。另一方面,目前的柔性数据手套存在制备效率低、制备方式复杂等缺点,无法实现大规模的工厂化生产,且使用稳定性较低。本文提出了一种基于MXene/PU薄膜传感器的柔性数据手套,其传感单元以通过溶液共混获得的MXene/PU复合物为传感材料,制备方式高效、简单,且成本低廉,同时具备超高灵敏度(拉伸度为25%时GF值高达664.8)、良好的稳定性和耐用性。经过测试,该数据手套能够对人体手指关节的不同弯曲角度的运动做出稳定、快速且准确的响应。我们采用基于该传感器的橡胶基数据手套实现了对美国标准下"0"-"9"静态手势的数据采集、处理,并进一步实现了对以上10种手势的准确识别,平均识别准确率高达99.13%。

In recent years, data glovesbased on flexible strain sesnors have received extensive attention. On the one hand, most of the commercial data gloves applied rigid MEMS sensors, whereas flexible sensors satisfy the needs of wearing comfort and low-cost manufacturing for data gloves because of their excellent flexibility and stretchability. On the other hand, with the disadvantages such as low preparation efficiency and complex preparation procedures, flexible data gloves reported cannot achieve large-scale preparation, andthey show relatively low stability after long-term use. In this paper, a data glove for gesture recognition based on flexible MXene/PU film sensors is proposed, on which the sensing units are obtained by compositing MXene and polyurethane (PU) by an efficient, facile and low-cost preparation method. Meanwhile, the as-fabricated sensing units show ultrahigh sensitivity (the gauge factor value has reached 664.8 @ 25% strain), outstanding stability and durability. After testing, the data glove shows stable, quick and accurate response to different bending angles of human finger joints. We further used the data glove to realize the data collection, data pre-processing and extremely accurate recognitions to 10 static gestures representing digits from "0" to "9" in American standard, and the average recognition accuracy has impressively achieved 99.13%.
