IPv4 over IPv6隧道技术在高校IPv6校园网上的应用

With the rapid development of the Internet, IPv4 address space will be exhausted, the existing IPv4 to IPv6 transition is imperative. Tunnel technology is the most important technology in the early years from IPv4 network to IPv6 network, Interoperable pure IPv6 network has been built in the universities, applications interconnected directly via IPv6 network can be interoperated by IPv4 over IPv6 tunnel, it provides an effective way for business development and resource sharing between universities. This paper describes the principle and implementation of IPv4 over IPv6 tunnel, and proves the availability and importance of this tunnel technology via the deployment of an actual case.
