感知大数据获取与计算的研究进展

Survey on Acquisition and Computation Techniques for Big Sensory Data

感知数据作为物联网、传感网中信息的载体,是必不可少的核心部分之一,几乎物联网、传感网的所有应用均依赖其而构建的。因此,感知数据的获取和计算也是物联网、传感网所需考虑的重要基础科学问题之一。然而,随着物联网、传感网的广泛应用,当前感知数据的规模正呈爆炸式的增长,目前许多传感网系统年产感知数据的规模已超过了PB 量级,可以说"感知大数据"的时代已经来临。与以往简单感知数据不同,感知大数据呈现出许多新特征,也为其高效地获取与计算带来前所未有的挑战。本文意在对感知大数据的新特点、新挑战进行分析, 总结在数据获取与计算方面与其密切相关的研究成果,并对未来的一些研究问题进行初步展望, 希望对推进感知大数据的深入研究有所贡献。

s the information carries, the sensory data sampled by each sensor nodes are essential components for wireless sensor networks (WSNs) and internet of things (IoTs), and almost of all applications of them are dependent on these sensory data. Therefore, the problems of sensory data acquisition, transmission and computation become fundamental research problems for WSNs and IoTs. However, with the widespread applications of WSNs and IoTs, the scale of sensory data manifests an explosive growth. In many applications, the size of sensed data has already exceeded several petabytes annually, which indicates the era of Big Sensed Data. Unlike traditional sensory data, the Big Sensory Data have many new features and bring many challenges for data acquisition, transmission and computation. In our paper, we aim to analyze the new features and challenges for Big Sensory Data, summary the related works, forecast a series of interesting research problems, and make contributions for promoting the deep researches on Big Sensory Data in the future.
