调控形貌合成BiFeO3微晶及其光催化性能

本文利用表面活性剂调控水热过程合成了不同形貌和颗粒尺寸的BiFeO3微晶颗粒,采用X射线衍射仪(XRD)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)和光催化反应器分别研究了BiFeO3微晶颗粒的晶体结构、微观形貌以及可见光光催化能力。XRD和SEM结果显示:表面活性剂的添加导致了BiFeO3微晶具有明显的结晶取向、不同的颗粒尺寸以及规则的特殊微观形貌;光催化能力测试及其影响机制分析揭示了:在同一种材料体系中,颗粒尺寸并不是影响材料光催化能力的唯一关键因素,颗粒内部或表面的缺陷也是重要的因素之一。

In this paper, BiFeO3 microcrystals with different grain size and morphology have been synthesized by hydrothermal process with addition of different surfactants. Crystal structure, morphology and photocatalytic activity under visible light radiation have been investigated by X-ray diffraction, Scanning Electron Microscopy and photocatalytic test. The results of XRD and SEM show that with addition of different surfacants, BiFeO3 microcrystals present different grain size and morphology. The analysis of results from photocatalytic tests reveals that the bulk/interface defects also play a key role to influence the photocatalytic activities of a semiconductor photocatalyst, except for the grain size.
