低温环境下海冰内部盐胞的重力去除实验
Gravity-induced sea ice desalination under low temperature
海冰是固、液两相共存的混合体,主要由固体淡水冰晶和液体盐胞构成,液体盐胞存在于冰晶之间的孔隙之中。在合适的低温环境下,冰体内部孔隙之间相互连通形成扩散通道,盐胞会在重力作用下排出冰体,具有一定盐度的海冰能够转化为淡水冰。实验结果表明:海冰重力脱盐过程中,排水体积和排水盐度随时间和环境温度而改变,如果将环境温度控制在-4.0℃至3℃之间,可以得到较少的排水体积和较高的排水盐度;环境温度是制约海冰重力脱盐过程的决定性因素,采取控温措施可以影响海冰重力脱盐的时间进程、排水体积和排水盐度;在控温条件下,即随着气温的升高,排水体积逐渐增加,排水盐度逐渐降低;脱盐率与产水率呈反比关系,产水率高则脱盐率低,反之亦然。
Sea ice is a composite complex mainly composed of solid pure ice,highly saline liquid brineand air pockets. In suitable low ambient temperature conditions, brine dropletsin sea ice would be expelled from drainage channelsunder the force of gravity, and sea ice with certain salinitycould be converted into fresh water. Experimental results showed that in the process of gravity-induced sea ice desalination, drainage volume and salinity varied with time and ambient temperature. If temperature could be controlled between -4.0oC to 3.0oC, drainage would be low in volume and high in salinity. Ambient temperature was a decisive and controlling factor in gravity-induced sea ice desalination, andheat preservation measures could affect the duration, volume and salinity of drainage during the process. With the rise of temperature, volume of drainage increased and salinity decreased. Rate of desalination and rate of water production expressed anegative correlation, where the higher the rate of water production, the lower the rate of desalination, and vice versa.
