im:To test the independent collgege students’ personality and compare with others. Methods: The 16PF is used, and 420 college students were tested. Results: The personalities of boys and girls in independent college are same to the national norms, respectively. By compared with the students in general college, the independent college students have higer scores in the factors of warmth, social boldness, sensitivity. And dominance are lower than students in general conllege. The secondary factors of adaption and anxiety, affection and alertness are lower too. There are sameness and deference between the boys and girls in the independent college.
