In this context , this paper summarized the existing literature , the causes and effects of changes in depth analysis. Study found that the reasons for the rapid transformation of food value chains in developing countries can be attributed to drivers of demand and supply side ; impact of the restructuring on small farmers are currently being incorporated into the modern food value chain than the traditional small farmers can get market value chain higher earnings , but the impact of changes in the food system for small farmers in the end is the " law of the jungle " or " symbiotic " still needs more investigation to confirm ; What is clear is that those who lack the physical assets of small farmers modern food value chain has been excluded, the policy focus should be concerned about the future survival of that part of vulnerable groups.
