电连接结构的信号完整性分析

随着高速连接器高速化、小型化的发展趋势,使得连接器产生的信号完整性问题更加严重,已经成为当前高速系统研究中的热点问题和难点问题。本文以Type-c电连接器的一对差分信号传输对为例,使用HFSS仿反震真软件,研究插入深度和介质层介电常数对电连接结构的特性阻抗、插入损耗、回波损耗等信号完整性指标的影响。论文总结出插入深度越小,传输性能越好;介质层的介电常数在3.8时,传输性能最好的结论。

With thedevelopment trend of high-speed connector faster and smaller, the signal integrity of connector is becoming more serious. The problem of signal integrity has become a hot issue and an urgent problemin the current high-speed system research. In this paper, a pair of differential pairs of Type-c electrical connectors are used to study the characteristic impedance, insertion loss , return loss of different structures to Type-c electrical connectors from two aspects: insertion depth and dielectric constant of dielectric layer by using HFSS simulation software.The paper concludes that the connector structure with smaller insertion depth has the better transmission performance. When the dielectric constant of the dielectric layer is 3.8, the transmission performance of the connector is the best.
