ISD4004 is a phonetic chip produced by ISD company of America. It has many advantages including recording without length limit, recording and playing for many times, using without expansion of the storage. The assistant circuit that the chip needs is simple and the time that the chip can store is long. This article introduces an applied, new style and multifunctional elevator voice floor-informer, which uses 89C51 single-chip microcomputer to control the circuits of phonetic chip ISD4004 informing at the real time.
