本文首先分析了当前IP网络应用的现状,提出了网络运营商面临的问题和挑战——业务和流量增加,但资源的分配不够合理。之后详细介绍了IP网络带宽管理技术,并对其中两大重要环节——流量识别和流量控制技术进行了深入论述。流量识别方面重点分析了深度包检测技术(DPI,Deep Packet Inspection)和动态流检测技术(DFI,Dynamic Flow Inspection);流量控制方面则是对流队列技术(PFQ,Per Flow Queuing),TCP速率限制技术(TRL,TCP Rate Limiting),数据包优先控制技术和类队列技术(CBQ,Class-Based Queuing)等四种常见技术进行了比较分析。最后对网络运营商在IP带宽管理方面的发展,以及未来运营商角色和提供服务的转变做了有益的探讨。
his paper analyses the current status of IP network application and proposes the problems and challenges network operators are facing. The volume of business has increased but the allocation of resources is still not reasonable. The IP network bandwidth management technology was introduced in detail and two important parts, flow identification and control technology, were discussed in-depth. In regard to flow identification, DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) technology and DFI (Dynamic Flow Inspection) technology are introduced. Then four types of commonly used technology in control technology field are described. Finally, a useful discussion on the network operators’ development in IP bandwidth management and on the changes of the services has been done.
