专业图书馆信息服务能力的构建

cademic libraries play an important role in promoting scientific research through information services. The role’s effect depends on the abilities of information services. It is not only the requirement from both the development of the knowledge innovation and the information users, but also the inevitable choice facing with the new challenges of information environment, to continuously explore new mode of information services, open up new areas of information services, and upgrade the abilities of information services. Information service ability is composed of information accessing and supporting ability, information management and transmission ability, information analysis and research ability, knowledge discovery and supporting ability, the sustainable development and innovation ability. Construction of information service ability depends on document information resources sharing mechanism, personnel training mechanism, open and united service mechanism, user-interaction mechanism and service-mode innovation mechanism.
