基于分布式编码的视频编码技术的研究
Research on Technologies of Video Compression based on Distributed Coding
无线监控、视频传感器网络以及移动相机等新应用的出现,使得对低复杂度视频编码方法的研究变得非常迫切,分布式信源编解码技术正是满足这种需求的一种信源压缩技术。首先介绍了分布式信源编解码的基本概念和理论基础,然后采用现在通用的像素域Wyner-Ziv视频编码方案实现了分布式视频编解码系统,并对系统的设计原理和性能做了分析。仿真表明,基于Turbo码的分布式视频编码率失真性能优于H.263+标准下的全I帧编码方式,但与H.263+标准下的帧内帧间混合编码方式还存在一定的差距。
Emerging application such as wireless surveillance systems, video sensor networks and mobile cameras among others, lead to urgent need of the low complexity video coding study. Distributed source coding is a paradigm for source compression which adapts to these requirements. The article gives the fundamental implementation and the state-of -art research results of distributed video coding, and uses the now common pixel domain Wyner-Ziv video coding scheme to achieve distributed video codec system, and it deeply analyses eystem's design principle and performance. The simulation result indicates that rate-distortion performance of the distributed video coding based on Turbo codes is better than the full I-frame encoding of the H.263 + standard,but there are still some gaps in hybrid frame coding of the H.263 + standard .
