ropos ligands, compared with traditional atropos ligands, have unique characteristics. Here, the development of several major types of tropos ligands, including oxazoline, biphosphine, monophosphine, bihydroxyl and N-O ligands, and their applications in asymmetric catalysis have been reviewed.
