无线传感器网络ZigBee路由器动态调度协议
ynamic Scheduling Protocol of Routers in ZigBee-based Wireless Sensor Networks
提出了一种降低ZigBee协议在无线传感器网络领域应用中功耗的路由器动态调度协议。目前标准ZigBee协议仅支持终端节点的低功耗休眠机制。为保证网络的可靠性,ZigBee路由器节点必须保持工作状态并监听网络活动,这大大增加了ZigBee网络的整体功耗,限制了其在无线传感器网络的应用。本文提出一种基于ZigBee的路由器调度协议,以重建部分路由的代价实现路由器的动态休眠,延长节点及整个网络的寿命。实验结果表明,较之标准ZigBee协议,本协议在降低功耗方面具有较大优势。
he paper proposes a dynamic scheduling protocol of routers in ZigBee-based Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) in order to reduce power consumption. Currently standard ZigBee protocol supports the least power-consuming sleep mode of operation only for end nodes. However in order to guarantee reliability of the network the routers need to remain on and constantly listening for activity, which significantly draws more energy and therefore limits the applications of ZigBee technology in WSN field. The proposed ZigBee compliant protocol supports sleep operation for routers and prolongs the lives of the nodes and the whole network at the cost of some rebuilding routings. Experimental results show its considerable advantages over standard ZigBee protocol in reducing power consumption.
