Pilot-scale synthesis and flocculation performance evaluation of the eco-friendly bamboo cellulose-based flocculating material

在实验室前期合成制备毛竹纤维素基绿色絮凝材料最优工艺础上,对其合成工艺进行放大,以中试规模试制毛竹纤维素基绿色絮凝材料,并对合成的绿色絮凝材料产品进行一系列表征和应用性能评价。在使用高岭土悬浊液作为模拟废水的情况下,将绿色絮凝材料与常规市售絮凝剂进行混凝效果对比。同时将合成的绿色絮凝材料应用于造纸废水处理,着重考察了助凝剂和绿色絮凝材料的用量对混凝效果的影响。结果表明:纤维素基绿色絮凝材料具有良好废水混凝效果,对高岭土模拟废水的浊度去除率可达98.9%,对造纸废水的浊度去除率达到99.9%,COD去除率达到73.5%。

In this paper we amplificated the synthesis process on the basis of the previous optimal synthesis process of the eco-friendly bamboo cellulose-based flocculating material and tried to synthesize the flocculating material in pilot scale, then did a series of characterization and evaluated its flocculation performance. In the case of using kaolin suspension as simulated wastewater, the flocculation efficiency of the flocculating material was compared with the conventional commercial flocculant. Meanwhile, the flocculating material was used in papermaking wastewater treatment, we investigated the dosage on the flocculation efficiency. The result shows that the eco-friendly bamboo cellulose-based flocculating material has a great flocculation efficiency of wastewater treatment, the turbidity removal rate of kaolin simulated wastewater is up to 98.9%, the turbidity removal rate of papermaking wastewater is up to 99.9%, the COD removal rate is up to 73.5%.
