河图雷达武汉东湖表面波浪探测实验
Surface Wave Observation Using HeTu Radar at Wuhan East-Lake
河流流量是水利工程建设及水文水资源管理中最重要的参考资料之一,传统基于水位-流量曲线的测验方法在使用前需要率定,且使用受到流态、气候等外界条件制约,灵活性较差。河流流量测量的核心是河流断面的流速测量,本文针对当前河流流速测量的难题,研制了一套全数字相干雷达系统“河图”,它可非接触式测量河流断面表面流场,并结合水深分布使用流速面积法估算流量,无需事先率定。河图在武汉东湖进行了现场试验,结果表明,河图可以有效测量东湖水面波浪引起的布拉格散射回波及水面客运船只运动特性;试验中,水面波浪及船只回波最大信噪比(SNR)均超过40dB,最大探测距离可达500m以上,显示回波质量非常高,系统性能较好。
River discharge are very important for hydraulic engineering design and hydrology -water resources management. Traditional discharge measurement approaches based on stage-discharge curve require rating or calibration before used, whose applications are limited by flow patterns, climate and other external conditions.As river velocity is the crucial parameter of discharge,to solve the difficult problem of the flow measurement, this paper proposed that the surface velocity distribution of river channel cross-section can be remote sensed by a full-digital coherent Doppler radar system named "HeTu", combination of the river depth and discharge is then calculated by velocity area method which does not require pre-calibration. A field experiment was conducted at Wuhan East-lake, and the radar echoes indicated that HeTu can measurement the surface water velocity using resonant Bragg scattering from water waves and the mobile passenger ship. The Bragg echoes with Signal-to-Noise Ratios(SNR) over 40dB were obtained from both water waves and ships, and the maximum range was over 500m, which proved that the HeTu radar system can work effectively.
