老人在独自生活时,有外出等行动需求,但随着年龄的增大出行时出现跌倒等意外的可能性也逐渐增加,目前跌倒已经成为老年人健康的主要威胁之一。在子女没有余力照顾老人时,能够及时发现老人的意外跌倒将为及时救治老人提供保障。本文借助智能终端的传感器,研究了基于加速度阈值的跌倒姿态检测算法,在传统的以加速度阈值为特征的算法上加入新的角速度特征,使算法能较好的工作于智能终端上,以智能终端为平台实现跌倒姿态检测算法的机制。

he potential risk of elderly people falling down on the ground increases when they are outside home by themselves. As falling down has become one of the most major threats to elderly people's health, it is important that one could notice those accidents in the first place in order to provide immediate health care for elderly people who are not accompanied by their children. This research paper investigates a method to calculate fall detection algorithm that is based on acceleration thresholds. With the aid of sensor in intelligent terminal, this research paper integrates the traditional algorithm, which is concentrating on acceleration thresholds, with the new algorithm that includes angular velocity. The fall detcetion algorithm could be used on intelligent terminal.
