Research on water absorption properties of Bacterial cellulose/Starch composites

本文制备了含不同细菌纤维素体积分数的淀粉基复合材料,对其吸湿性能进行了研究。结果显示,复合材料吸湿速率低于淀粉基体,复合材料在吸湿后力学性能出现明显下降,吸湿导致的界面脱粘是材料失效的主要原因。

Starch-based composites with different bacterial cellulose fractions were prepared in this study. Water absorption tests show that the moisture absorption rates of composites are lower than starch matrix material. An obviously decrease in tensile strength is observed after water absorption. Interface fracture caused by moisture absorption was considered to be the main reason of composites failure.
