These educational institutes underestimate the challenge of the fashion CAD education. Therefore, it is very difficult for them to guarantee the quality of provided education. There are for example, unreasonable curricular arrangement, less prepared hardware facility, lack of competent professors, no common understanding of the education approaches of the fashion CAD education, no clear strategy and purpose of fashion CAD education. Moreover, the education of fashion CAD is only seen as a supplement of the traditional plate design, while it should be treated as a systematic and innovative education approach which involves style, pattern and technology.
