三峡库区重庆段汞污染现状分析

he construction of the Three Gorges Project implemented the persistence usage of the water resource of the Three Gorges Valley. However, the prevention of water pollution is imminent. In this paper, the author analyzed the characteristics of mercury pollution in Three Gorges reservoir area in Chongqing and discussed the main reason of the mercury pollution. Prevention and treatment measures in the aspects of technology, regulations and policies were proposed, which could provide the reference for water quality and safety protection of the Three Gorges Reservoir.
