Spontaneous appearance of dipole moment in ultracold bosons due to PT-symmetry breaking

We consider the ground-state properties of two-component ultracold atoms subject to a centrosymmetric magnetic field.In the non-interacting case, the ground state is two-fold degenerate due to time reversal and parity symmetry. We find the asymptotic expression of the wave functions. In the interaction cases, we discuss the behavior of the dipole and magnetic moments along withsystematic parameters due to spontaneous symmetry breaking.
