创新对创业的作用机制及实证研究

Mass entrepreneurship and innovation are the driving forces for high-quality development. Based on the theoretical framework of innovation influencing entrepreneurship, this paper USES panel data of Chinese provinces from 1997 to 2016 to empirically test the impact of innovation on different types of entrepreneurship. It is found that without considering spatial spillover factor, innovation plays a significant role in promoting overall entrepreneurship and high-level entrepreneurship, but not in promoting low-level entrepreneurship. When considering the spatial spillover effect, no matter what kind of entrepreneurship, the spatial lag factor is significantly positive, indicating that the entrepreneurship in neighboring provinces has a positive spillover effect on the entrepreneurship in the province and the coordinated development among provinces. The innovation of neighboring provinces shows some differences in the spatial spillover effect of different types of entrepreneurship in the province. Specifically, the innovation of neighboring provinces has positive spatial spillover effect on the overall entrepreneurship and high-level entrepreneurship of the province, but not significant spillover effect on the low-level entrepreneurship of the province. The results show that China should pay more attention to the quality of entrepreneurship, not just the growth of the number of entrepreneurship.
