computational fluid dynamics (CFD) study of the methanol steam reforming in a catalytic micro-serpentine channel of 110mm in length and 2mm in width for hydrogen production is presented. It's discussed that the influencing factors such as the temperature and the value of catalyst mass to the inlet methanol velocity to the methanol conversion and the outlet CO mole concentration (ppm). It's also discussed that the temperature and the pressure and the mole fraction of the reactant in the serpentine micro-channel. It's a good reference to the optimization design of the surface catalytic methanol steam reforming for hydrogen production reactors.
