空域未知相关噪声环境下的波达方向估计新方法
New Direction of Arrival Estimation Method in the Presence of Spatially Unknown Correlated Noise
提出一种空域未知相关噪声环境下的波达方向估计新方法,该方法采用两个相距足够远的阵列分别进行信号接收。尽管同一个阵列上各阵元接收到的噪声存在空域相关性,但是由于两个阵列相距足够远,它们的噪声之间互不相关。通过对两组阵列信号进行互相关运算可以消除空域未知相关噪声对波达方向估计的影响,再对互相关矩阵做时间上的滑动平均可以构造出一个虚拟的满秩相关矩阵,最后利用特征分解法进行波达方向估计。仿真结果表明该方法可以在空域未知相关噪声环境下精确地测出信号的波达方向,进而实现对信号源的定位。
new method of direction of arrival (DOA) estimation is proposed in the presence of Spatially Unknown Correlated noise. The method uses two arrays which are far away from each other to receive signals. Although the noises received by the elements of an array are spatially correlated, the noises are uncorrelated between the two arrays since they are far away from each other. The influence of the Spatially Unknown Correlated noise to the DOA estimation is eliminated by using the cross-correlation of the signals received by the two arrays. The cross-correlation matrices are averaged over time to construct a virtual correlation matrix of full rank. The DOA is finally estimated by using the method of eigendecomposion to the virtual correlation matrix. Simulation results show that the proposed method can find the accurate DOA of the signal in the presence of the Spatially Unknown Correlated noise, and then completes the localization of the signal source.
