coustic field rotator is an effective method to control and manipulate the acoustic waves, it can rotate the wavefront a certain angle in the center of the rotator and is regarded as a special kind of illusion cloak. We propose the metamaterial acoustic field rotator simply comprises of an array of identical plastic plates, and further study the relationship between the size of the designed rotator and the working frequency. Numerical simulations show that the designed device can work effectively when kb is smaller than 17.3, which proves that the acoustic field rotator has a broadband functionality. Moreover, the relationship between the rotated angle in the center of the rotator and the aspect ratio of the inserted rectangles is discussed, it has a nearly linear relationship. It provides potential value in special acoustic manipulation such as biomedical ultrasound imaging and therapy.
