EDTA是一种难以被生物降解的络合物,直接影响到工业废水处理的达标排放。本文采用好氧活性污泥法来研究EDTA的降解,活性污泥法采用中性和碱性条件降解,96h后EDTA去除率分别为97.11%和95.16%。

EDTA(Ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid) is a synthetic chelating agents that form stable complexes with most metals and are used in a variety of industrial applications . These chelates have been widely reported to either resist degradation or undergo slow biodegradation. Activated sludge systems adopt neutral and alkaline condition respectively . The sludge was able to split EDTA into readily biodegradable iminodiacetic acid .The degradation is up to 97.11% after 96 hours at neutral condition , and 95.16% at alkaline condition.
