近 20 年计算机与信息科学领域研究进展——IPM 期刊主题分析

Purpose/significance] This paper analyzes the themes of papers published in InformationProcessing and Management from 2000 to 2020, in order to know the thematic focus and evolution trends ofIPM, and provide references for the development and related research of computer and information science.[Method/process] Firstly, based on 1852 research papers in the full-text database of ScienceDirect, this papercounted and visualized the titles, abstracts and keywords of the papers to classify the thematic categories.Then, this paper analyzed the research themes of each category systematically. At last, it compared thethematic focus in different periods and analyzed thematic evolution trends. [Result/conclusion] IPM mainlyfocuses on three themes of information retrieval, text analysis and user research, and presented evolutioncharacteristics in general: information retrieval as the core theme, transform from text and informationanalysis to multimedia and knowledge analysis, and in-depth analysis and mining of user sentiments.
