植物转录因子DREB家族在非生物胁迫下的研究进展
Research Progress of Dehydration-responsive element-binding (DREB) Transcription Factors in Plants under Abiotic Stress
摘要
低温,干旱或者热激等许多非生物胁迫都会影响植物的生长和发育。在植物抵抗外界胁迫的过程中,转录因子起到了重要的作用。DREB(dehydration-responsive element-binding protein)作为AP2/ERF家族中的一类亚家族,为植物特有的一类转录因子,可以同顺式作用元件上的DRE/CRT(dehydration-responsive element/C-repeat)序列相结合,从而调节下游基因的表达,最终使植物能感知和适应逆境。本文主要总结了近年来植物中DREB家族成员中DREB1/CBF和DREB2在非生物胁迫条件下的作用机理及表达调控模式,以期进一步为抗逆品种的选育及改良提供参考。Abstract
Abiotic stress such as extreme temperatures, drought and heat shock conditions affect the survival, growth and reproduction of plants. To protect cells and adapt such conditions like these, transcription factors play an important role in plants. As a plant-specific transcrition factors, the DREB (dehydration-responsive element-binding protein) family members could activate the expression of stress-responsive genes via specific binding to the dehydration-responsive element/C-repeat (DRE/CRT) cis-acting element in their promoters. In this view, we discuss the functions and regulations of two major types of DREBs, DREB1/CBF and DREB2 under abiotic stress. In the foreseeable future, we hope to lay a foundation for breeding and improvement of stress-resisted plant. 关键词
