One dimensional certification of the general solution of Biot consolidation theory in saturated soil

基于三维饱和弹性土体Biot方程的完备通解,构造了一维情况下的一组中间变量,这些变量是坐标和时间的函数,进而得到一维情况下位移和孔压的解析解表达形式。通过给出一维算例的边界条件求出中间变量表达式中的系数,得出位移和孔压的最终表达式,即Biot方程的一维解答。运用太沙基理论对同一算例进行求解,两种途径得到的解答相同,符合在一维情况下Biot理论和太沙基理论一致的理论依据,验证了Biot方程完备通解的实用性。为进一步探索三维饱和弹性土体Biot方程完备通解的应用奠定了基础。

Intermediate variables are structured based on the general solution of Biot consolidation theory in one dimensional, which are functions of coordinates and time. Then analytic solutions of displacement and pore pressure in one dimensional are obtained. By using the boundary conditions of a consolidation example, coefficients of the intermediate variables are obtained, and also the expressions of the displacement and pore pressure, which are namely the one dimensional solutions of Biot consolidation theory. Then make use of Terzaghi consolidation theory to analyze the same example. The two solutions are coincident, that meets the necessity of the uniformity of Biot theory and Terzaghi theory in one dimension and proves the practicability of the general solution of Biot consolidation theory. Then a support to explore the application of the general solution is offered.
